Security of customer and consumer data is our highest priority.
Building Zero's commitment to keeping data secure extends beyond simply following Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. Building Zero is one of few organizations in the contact center industry that locks down an agent's computer. Specifically, we have the ability to disable the following PC-based features on the agent's computer: Copy/Paste, Print Screen, Printing, and Installing Other Applications. We also take steps to disable an agent's DVD/CD drive as well as other USB ports preventing the download of data to devices on those ports.
Below are some of the steps we have taken to ensure our client's data is kept secure:
- Building Zero maintains a secure firewall configuration to ensure that no unauthorized individuals gain access to our systems or data
- We encrypt all transmissions through secure tunnels built between our home agents, our customers, and our primary data center
- We ensure all passwords are unique and are changed on a monthly basis at a minimum
- We maintain up-to-date anti-virus software
- We assign unique IDs to all individuals accessing any of our systems along with date and time. Where possible, we also track specific transactions performed by each individual
- Physical access to data is restricted
In an effort to ensure the best service to our customers, Building Zero requests the establishment of Business-to-Business (B2B) Virtual Private Network connections. All data transmissions occur over these connections via IPSEC tunnels to ensure the utmost in privacy and security.
We believe these measures are extensive in today's technology environment, and will continue to look for better ways to secure our systems and the customer's data.
